Yes, Curtis Baptist School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and Cognia Accreditation Commission. CBS is an active member of the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA).

CBS teaches students from K3 through 12th Grade.

At Curtis Baptist School our desire is to honor God in everything we do and see our students grow in knowing Him personally. We endeavor for excellence in academics, fine arts, athletics, and daily living by integrating spiritual principles into every aspect of our school life. Our mission at Curtis Baptist School is to infuse a Biblical worldview in all areas of academics, fine arts, and athletics, developing bold and devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We offer parents a safe and loving environment for their children to learn and grow in Christ’s love. We provide opportunities for children to be educated from a Biblical perspective, to hear the gospel, to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and to be involved in a local church. Acceptable student behavior is expected of all students.

At this time CBS does not offer AP classes. Students are encouraged to do Dual Enrollment.

Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit programs provide opportunities for Georgia and South Carolina high school students to take college-level courses and earn concurrent credit toward their high school diploma and a college degree. These courses are available for any eligible 11th or 12th-grade students.

98% of our Curtis Baptist School graduates are accepted and move on to further their education at the college of their choice.

Yes, the Learning Place (LP) Program at Curtis Baptist School consists of classes with a small student/teacher ratio and teachers trained in the field. It exists to meet the needs of students with learning difficulties such as ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, processing difficulties, and more. Prospective LP students will initially meet with the LP Coordinator before going through the admission process.

CBS accepts the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS) available for students attending Georgia public schools with an assigned Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Award amounts for eligible students for each school year will be available in late June for the Georgia Department of Education.

Our K- 5th-grade students attend weekly classes in music, drama, and visual art.
